On February 23, 2023, a significant ceremony was held at the Ministry of Planning and Investment's meeting room. The purpose of this event was to formalize the database integration between the Department of Enterprise Registration and Management within the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Investment Promotion Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
This integration was established through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The ceremony featured Mr. Aphisit Sangsulivong, Director General of the Department of Enterprise Registration and Management from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and Mr. Vanthana Norlintha, Director General of the Investment Promotion Department from the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Notable guests in attendance were H.E. Dr Manothong Vongxay, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and H.E. Dr Sathabandith Insysiengmao, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, as well as the Deputy Director Generals, Division Directors, Deputy Division Directors, and technical officers from the two departments. The main objective of this MOU is to enhance a coordination mechanism, enable the exchange of information, and improve the integration between the investment database system and the national enterprise database. This integration primarily focuses on investment concessions and enterprise registration information.
