Individuals or legal entities that intends to show Lao movie and imported foreign movie for distributing and publicizing in Lao PDR whether by showing in the cinema, mobile screenings; broadcast on television and internet networks transmission; screening in a film event or international film festivals; or publicizing via VDO cassettes tape, CD, VCD, DVD, hard disk or other recording devices. |

| Qualifications needed by the business to get the formality |
1. The movie to be broadcasted on television must be approved by government authority that supervise movies or receive permission from the director of Lao National Television; 2. The movie content must passed the inspection and it must be constructive, not contradict with national traditions, social order, and not impact on the harmony between Lao and other friendly countries; 3. For foreign movie, it is required to be dubbed into Lao language or its original language with Lao subtitles. |
