Inventory of Business Licenses

Any individual, legal entity, or organization that intends to engage in the business of selling, importing, and exporting vaccines, animal medicines, and equipment used for the provision of veterinarian services. 

1. Be in good health and be at least 20 years old, have a permanent residence in Lao PDR for at least 5 years; not in the process of being prosecuted or disciplined; and no prior business bankruptcy;
2. Having a suitable location and equipment that meet the standards, including (i) Store shall have an area of not less than 12 square meters and shall be separated from the residential area or other shops selling any other products rather than medicine. In addition, it shall have separate storage with an area of not less than 9 square meters; (ii) having equipment for storing and selling products such as glass cabinets, refrigerators, clean medicine boxes, and bags imprinted with the store stamp; and (iii) having the store sign stating all the details;
3. Being graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in veterinary or equivalent; and
4. Having an assistant who has the veterinarian expertise, stationing at the shop when the owner is absent. 

1. It is prohibited to locate the shop in the fresh market area;
2. It is prohibited to relocate the shop without prior permission in accordance with technical principles;
3. It is prohibited to change the shop operator without notifying the authority;
4. It is prohibited to sell animal medicines mixed with human medicines and prohibited to sell the products exceeding the account they are allowed to sell.
