Inventory of Business Licenses

Any individual, legal entity, both domestic and foreign organization intending to run businesses on satellite communications such as satellite communication channel rental service, satellite communications services via VSAT system, services on data transmission through the land satellite station, import, distribution, installation, production, satellite communications equipment export, and satellite communications business, shall apply for a license from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (except the satellite television receivers - DTH).

- Those who intend to use radio communication frequencies for their business shall have an enterprise registration certificate, have a stable financial status, and have a business plan;
- Have other conditions according to each type of communication, have skilled personnel according to the type of business, and be authorized to provide satellite communications services (for foreign satellites),
- Have an office, after-sales service for customers.

There are many types of satellite communications business, so each type of licensing requires different technical information.
Types of businesses in the field of satellite communications include:
1. Satellite communication channel rental service
2. VSAT satellite communication services
3. Providing data transmission and reception via land satellite communications stations
4. Import, distribution, installation, manufacturing, and export of satellite communications equipment
5. Other satellite communications businesses
