1. Having irrigation engineers with at least 5 years of working experience as indicated in each scale of irrigation activities. 2. The manager of the company must have at least a degree in irrigation and the director of the company must have a certificate in irrigation engineering 3. Having sufficient capital and equipment specified for each scale of irrigation activities. The working capital shall cover at least 30% of total intangible assets. 4. The company shall meet the conditions for operating irrigation related business. |

- Irrigation activities are categorized into 3 different scales. The licenses for large and medium scale irrigation shall be considered by the Irrigation Department, and then by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. - For small scale irrigation, it shall be submitted to the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry (or of Vientiane Capital) for the consideration. |
