Who should complete this business formality?	Any individual, legal entity, national or international organization operating businesses including services, import, and sale of all kinds of electricity meters in Lao PDR. They shall have the certificate of registration as well as the certificate of inspection issued by the Department of Standardization and Measurement before the operation.
Qualifications needed by the business to get the formality	The applicant shall be any individual, legal entity, national, or international organization that acquires the business operating license in accordance with the laws of Lao PDR.
Additional Comment	- The Department of Standardization and Measurement is responsible for issuing the certificate of registration and inspection of new electricity meters. - The Provincial Department of Science and Technology together with the Provincial Department of Electricity is responsible for conducting the inspection of electricity meters after 2 years of its set up.
