Who should complete this business formality?
Any individual or enterprise that intends to provide technical services or consultancy on the environment including the following services:
1. Conduct a study, analysis, assessment, and an environmental impact assessment report of investment projects, developmental activities, and family business including providing environmental and social management and monitoring plans
2. Provision of eco-friendly technology and building structures
3. Pollution control and management of general, hazardous, and toxic waste
4. Education and awareness-raising to promote the quality of the environment
5. Planning for the Integrated Environmental Management Plan
6. Preparing the Strategic Environmental Assessment
7. Implementation of the obligations under the Environmental and Social Management Plan
8. Monitoring the quality of the environment (air, water, or noise)
9. Research and Analysis of the quality of the environment 
10. Other technical services related to environmental services
Qualifications needed by the business to get the formality
1.	Having the Enterprise Registration Certificate and the feasibility study
2.	Having good financial condition – having at least 400 Million LAK registered capital for the service provider who conducts a study, analysis, assessment, and an environmental impact assessment of investment projects, developmental activities, and family business including providing environmental and social management and monitoring plans; and having at least 100 Million LAK for other 2-10 listed services above (more details in the article 02 of the Decision on Environmental Services, No 0345/MONRE issued on 22 January 2015)
3.	Having sufficient technical experts on nature and environment – having at least 3 experts with a master’s degree in relevant fields; If conducting an in-depth study, analysis, assessment and providing an environmental impact assessment report, the enterprise should have at least 5 experts working on those specific fields including geology and minerals, hydrology, forestry, and so on; and having other staff with a high-level diploma with at least 3 years of working experience, and those experts shall not be the government officers or have committed any crime
4.	Having sufficient office supplies and technical equipment
5.	Having a good track record in contributing to the activities relating to natural resources and environmental protection
